Thibault Gauriau is an FX Supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), where he specializes in crafting complex visual effects for feature films.

 

Over the past two decades, he has contributed to more than 34 feature films and television productions such as Star Wars, The Avengers, Pacific Rim, Transformers, Ready Player One, The Mandalorian, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Tron: Ares.

 

Leading various FX teams across the world, Thibault brings deep industry expertise and a commitment to innovation in visual storytelling.

Winner of the 2020 Visual Effects Society (VES) Awards: Outstanding Effects Simulations in a Photoreal Feature for his work on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Beyond visual effects, Thibault Gauriau is also a fine art photographer and curated several public art exhibitions.

 

Passionate about education and creative exchange, he regularly leads lectures and master classes to share his love for Art.
